The Yale Program in Addiction Medicine is pleased to welcome Rebekah Heckmann, MD, MPA, MPH, as speaker for Addiction Medicine Rounds on January 24, 2023.

Title: Using Systems Dynamics Modelings to Foster Real-time Connections to Care

Learning Objectives:

1. Describe the core structures that compromise system dynamics (SD) models.

2. Understand how group model building represents a unique way to engage stakeholders in identifying the underlying dynamics of public health problems.

3. Learn how SD modeling can allow addiction medicine researchers to integrate seemingly disparate types of data to answer clinical questions.

4. Discuss how SD modeling is being utilized to understand addiction medicine and public health problems in Connecticut.

Addiction Medicine Rounds are CME accredited. Each session will be assigned 1AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM.
