Medical Toxicology Fellowship
Overview
The Yale ACGME accredited Toxicology Fellowship in Emergency Medicine is a 2 year fellowship offered annually to two qualified EM residency graduates. Fellows will develop expertise in bedside consultative toxicology supported by the highly-developed infrastructure and diverse patient population at Yale. Fellows will gain robust poison center and teleconsultation experience. In addition, fellows may tailor their professional development through optional Areas of Concentration (AOCs), building depth and a distinctive niche prior to graduation. AOCs may include Research/Informatics, EMS/HazMat/Disaster Medicine, Global Health, Addiction/Pain Medicine, Wilderness Medicine with potential to develop additional Areas (perhaps forensic toxicology, occupational/military toxicology and more).
