Financial Aid

We know that deciding how you are going to manage a financial plan for funding your medical school education is a major undertaking that requires solid information and careful planning.

We aim to be available, accountable, accessible in providing the financial aid information you need to help you find funding to support your medical studies.

This website walks you through the process of applying for financial aid and provides you with a list of all the materials you will need to complete as well as important deadlines. It contains information about available loans and scholarships for students in the MD and PA programs.

Students in the PA Programs are eligible for Federal Loans only. With the exception of 3rd year students in the Campus PA program, there is no institutional scholarship available for PA students.

Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA)

Yale’s financial aid policies assure that no student will be denied an education because of immigration status. Yale will adjust affected students’ aid packages to compensate for their inability to contribute from student earnings stemming from the loss of DACA work authorization.
