Identifying Microaggressions and Discussing Responses

  • Unique: This is a six-session module designed to define and identify microaggressions in clinical and academic situations, understand their impact and explore strategies to respond effectively.
  • Important: It discusses and explores the issues of microaggressions in the clinical environment with a patient and trainees. It also provides free CME credit and meets a State of Connecticut Mandate topic category. We acknowledge the wonderful collaboration between the YSM Teaching and Learning Center, the Department of Psychiatry and the YSM Continuing Medical Education Office.
