Dr. David Rimm receives an Honorary Doctorate from University of Athens

On January 17^th 2020 the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens conferred a Doctor Honoris Causa (Honorary Doctorate in Medicine) to Dr. David Rimm from Yale University. Dr. Rimm has a long history of working with faculty from the University of Athens and has trained many PhD students and medical post-doctoral fellows from the University of Athens. Initiated by a collaboration with Professor Konstantinos Syrigos and extended by collaborations with Professor Amanda Psyrri (a former faculty member in Oncology at Yale), Dr. Rimm has trained 9 Greek doctors. All together, they have produced over 40 collaborative manuscripts and the two most senior trainees are now Assistant Professors at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and the Mayo Clinic.
