Research Summary
Dr. Quagliarello is a nationally recognized investigator in the pathophysiology and management of meningitis, and the prognostic classification and management of endocarditis. For the past several years, his scholarship has focused on infections among older adults as an NIH R01 funded principal investigator and a recipient of an NIH K07 Academic Leadership Award to mentor trainees at the postdoctoral and junior faculty level to develop interdisciplinary research at the interface of Infectious Diseases and Geriatrics.
