Research Summary

I am actively involved in clinical trials involving novel aortic endograft technologies. Specifically, I am involved in implementation of the Unitary Manifold - a Physician-Assembled, Branched, Aortic Endograft - for the minimally invasive treatment of degenerative and dissecting thoracoabdominal aortopathies.

My other research interest focuses in part on biomolecular pathways involved in the pathogenesis and propagation of vascular malformations. In particular, I am interested in the endovascular delivery of sustained, targeted pharmacotherapy for less invasive management of these complex lesions. I have filed a patent to this avail through Yale's Office of Cooperative Research.

Lastly, I am actively involved in Industry-sponsored Investigational Device Exemption Clinical Trials investigating the safety and feasibility of High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) for non-invasive ablation of incompetent veins and vascular malformations of the extremities.
