Research Summary

Dr Malinis' research is focused on clinical outcomes of infections in solid organ transplant (SOT) and hematopoietic stem cell transplants. She has a specific interest in special populations, such as older adults and people living with HIV. She participates in several multi-center clinical trials on novel anti-virals and diagnostic tests. She is the Yale site primary investigator of the NIH U01- funded HIV to HIV deceased donor kidney transplant and deceased liver transplant clinical trial study led by Johns Hopkins University.
