Research Summary
My current work involves partnering with colleagues and community organizations to assess access to mental and behavioral health for immigrant and refugee populations. This includes a preventive mental health initiative, EMPOWER (Emotions Program Outside the Clinic with Wellness Education for Refugees), which adapts and implements evidenced-based social-emotional learning and wellness curricula for refugee youth.
