Kiana McDavid


Kiana McDavid is a Research Associate II at the Center for Outcomes Research & Evaluation (CORE). She received her Bachelor of Science in Public Health in 2017. Following her undergraduate studies, Kiana was offered an internship at the University of Chicago through the National Institutes of Health. She focused on data collection, analysis, and literature reviews to further advance HIV prevention research. Following, Kiana worked as the Program Manager of the Transforming Clinical Practice Initiative funded by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. She led Connecticut’s Health Centers toward an alternative payment model utilizing quality improvement. In 2018 she obtained her Yellow Belt in Lean Six Sigma to further her quality and process improvement expertise. More recently, Kiana was the Project Coordinator for the Chat4Change demonstration project, funded by the Centers for Disease Control. The project aimed to increase Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) knowledge and adherence among Black and Latinx MSM. She was responsible for project coordination, deliverables and milestone management and effective stakeholder and subject matter expert communication
