Biography

is a physician scientist at the Center for Outcomes Research and Evaluation (CORE) , an organization dedicated to improving the quality of care for all patients. A graduate of the Doctoral Medical Program at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, and the Master's in Public Health Program at Columbia Mailman School of Public Health, Dr. Simmonds has deep knowledge of medicine with a passion for public health. After completing two years of general surgery residency, she furthered her clinical research education and expertise through the Empire Clinical Research Fellowship (ECRIP) at University at Buffalo Surgical Outcome Analysis & Research Initiative.
