Dr. Ananth is a pediatric hematologist/oncologist that cares for children with cancer and blood disorders and is a leading researcher in palliative care research to optimize supportive and palliative care for children with advanced cancer.

On this episode of Yale Cancer Answers, Dr. Ananth discusses her research focused on evaluating and improving care for children with advanced cancer. "We are involved from the start, once a patient is diagnosed through planning and instituting any treatment and in survivorship. The opportunity to provide this longitudinal care for children and young adults is, in part, what makes our practice both challenging and incredibly fulfilling.”
