Genetics Department Seminar Series: "Understanding human pluripotent stem cell states and their applications"
The past decade has seen significant interest in the isolation of pluripotent stem cells corresponding to various stages of mammalian embryonic development. I will discuss recent insights into the naïve state of human pluripotency and our efforts to exploit its extraembryonic potential to model human placental development.
