Athanassios Petrotos, MD, assistant professor of clinical surgery at Yale School of Medicine, was selected for the Lifetime Achievement award by Doctors of Distinction.
Originally from Greece, Dr. Petrotos received his MD at University of Patras Medical School in Patras. He completed his residency and internship at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center/Columbia University. He currently serves as the medical director of Greenwich Hospital’s trauma program. In this role, he specializes in laparoscopic surgery and gallbladder surgery using robotic and minimally invasive techniques.
