The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ)

AHRQ is the primary funder for CHIRAL. The agency’s mission is to produce evidence that improves the quality, safety, accessibility, and equity of health care in the United States.

Yale School of Medicine (YSM)

The Yale School of Medicine is a world-renowned center for biomedical research, education, and health care. The school consistently ranks as a leading recipient of research funding from the NIH and other organizations supporting biomedical sciences.

Yale Academic Hospitalist Program

The Academic Hospitalist Program is comprised of physicians who provide care for hospitalized patients, lead scholarly and quality improvement work, and teach the physician leaders of tomorrow. The academic hospitalists are consistently rated among the highest teachers by their trainees.

Yale New Haven Hospital (YNHH)

Yale New Haven Hospital is an urban, 1,541-bed, Level 1 trauma center. It has been repeatedly ranked as one of the best hospitals in the country by U.S. News & World Report. YNHH serves as the primary teaching hospital for YSM and the Yale School of Nursing.

SYN:APSE Center for Learning, Transformation, and Innovation

SYN:APSE is a state-of-the-art healthcare simulation program. Since 2009, SYN:APSE has provided a wide range of services to clinicians within the Yale New Haven Health System, including facility design and testing, environment and workflow analysis, systems integration, and education and training.
