August 2014, Ningbo. The Yale-China Program on Child Development expert team participated in the annual conference held by China Education Daily. Dr. Walter Gilliam and Dr. Tong Liu delivered keynote addresses at the opening.
July 2011, Beijing. Dr. Walter Gilliam and Dr. Tong Liu visited the kindergarten affiliated with Renmin University.
October 2013, New Haven. Yale-China Advanced Training held at Yale Zigler Center.
Yale-China Program on Child Development is an international program which promotes exchanges and facilitates cooperation between China and the US in early childhood education and child development. It is launched by Edward Zigler Center in Child Development & Social Policy at Yale University and participated in by relevant schools at Yale University, some research institutions of early childhood education and social associations in both countries.
耶鲁—中国儿童发展研究项目是由耶鲁大学载格勒 社会政策与儿童发展研究所发起、耶鲁大学相关院 所、中美两国部分儿童早期教育研究机构和社会组织 共同参与的国际项目。
该项目旨在通过协调和组织中美两国大学、非政府 组织和儿童早期教育机构在幼儿园课程、幼儿园质量 评估、儿童情商、儿童社会政策等领域开展学术交流 与合作，促进中美两国在儿童早期教育与儿童发展的 理论研究，提高两国儿童早期教育的质量和儿童福 祉。
