National Conferences

The 21C National Conferences are leadership and staff development opportunities for educators interested in learning more about Schools of the 21st Century, Early Care and Education, School-age Care, Family Resource Centers, Community Schools, and other school-based family support programs, as well as exploring cutting edge research in the field, and developing new skills to apply to their work.

21C National Training Institutes

The 21C National Training Institutes are planned specifically for fewer participants to enable intensive training and interactive sessions. The Institutes are open to educational leaders - principals, superintendents, program directors, and school board members - who want practical information and techniques to support their efforts to enhance student learning. The first National Training Institute was held at Yale University July 17-18, 2006. See below for the Brochure and Program.

Educators from around the country joined together at this leadership and staff development conference to learn about school-age and middle school programs, Social and Emotional Learning (SEL), school-based mental health, improving student academic achievement by providing early care and education and family support services, and collaborating with and outreach to parents and the community.
