Community and Implementation

  • The innovations in health care delivery pod focuses on addressing new ways to improve the access and reach of mental health treatments for children and families. From innovation in location and the training of community members to deliver specific treatments to the use of technology both to reach more families and to incentivize positive, health-promoting behaviors, investigators in the innovation in health care delivery are addressing issues of access to care, the stigma of mental health needs, and building a bigger and more effective care delivery workforce.
  • The educational research pod covers the science and practical application of social and emotional learning in schools, the impact of preschool education and of the professional development of preschool teachers, and the assessment and strengthening of school climate.
  • The community-based research pod focuses on clinical research of community-based interventions including in-home services and on how to implement evidence-based practices more broadly in real world community settings.
