Sara Winograd



Sara Winograd, PsyD, is the Postdoctoral Psychology Fellow on the Trauma track and a graduate of the Clinical Child and School Psychology program at the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology at Yeshiva University in New York. Sara received her BA from Washington University in St. Louis with college honors, majoring in Psychology and Jewish, Islamic, and Near Eastern Studies. During her graduate training, Sara has completed externships at the Churchill School and Center, NYC Health + Hospitals/Queens, the New York Foundling child welfare agency, and NewYork-Presbyterian/Weil Cornell Medicine, working with children and adolescents with a range of presentations in educational, outpatient, and inpatient settings. Sara also worked as a study therapist for Ferkauf’s randomized clinical trial of Regulation Focused Psychotherapy for Children (RFP-C), a manualized psychodynamic therapy for children with disruptive behavior. Sara’s area of research focuses on maternal ambivalence and the relationship between COVID-19 stressors, parental stress, work-family balance, and maternal separation anxiety.
