Roald A. Øien, PhD

Dr. Roald A. Øien, PhD is Professor of child and adolescent development at the Department of Special Education, UiT - The Arctic University of Norway and Adjunct Assistant Professor at Yale Child Study Center. Research focus on developmental psychology and special education. His research focuses on early developmental, behavioral and temperamental features in children with and without neurodevelopmental disorders and psychiatric disorders. His clinical work surrounds children, adolescents and young adults with ASD, ADHD and Tourette Syndrom. Dr. Øien is an associate editor for the Journal of Autism and Developmental Disorders.
