Lauren Smith is an incoming freshman at Cornell University working as an intern within the Cha Lab. She is passionate about mental healthcare and aims to research and reduce child suicide by creating ways to better children’s access to mental health resources. Outside of her work in the Cha Lab, Lauren is an All-American javelin thrower.
