Biography

Christian Edwards, M.S.W, is a second year Social Work Fellow in the outpatient clinic. Christian is a compassionate and accomplished professional who has dedicated his life to empowering the lives of others. Christian’s educational journey began at Morehouse College, where he earned a B.A. in Psychology. Driven by a desire to create a positive impact, he further honed his skills at the University of Michigan, obtaining a Master's in Social Work (MSW) in Interpersonal Practice in Integrated Health, Mental Health, & Substance Abuse.

Armed with a passion for social justice and a commitment for fostering change, Christian embarked on a fulfilling career focused on advocating for the wellbeing of black male adolescents. His genuine compassion, paired with his Social Work education, allows him to create a safe and supportive environment for his clients. By actively engaging with their unique needs and aspirations, he empowers these young individuals to navigate life's challenges and unlock their full potential.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Christian finds joy and fulfillment in a variety of interests. An active participant in his community, he values the connections and relationships that can be built through meaningful engagement with others. When not making a difference in the lives of his clients, Christian can be found in the kitchen, where he channels his creativity into cooking delicious meals that bring people together. Additionally, Christian’s passion for exploring new cultures, fuels his love for travel, enriching his understanding of the world and its diverse perspectives.
