Two Comer schools are the focus of an inspiring new documentary, 180 Days: Hartsville that will air on PBS on Tuesday, March 17 from 8:00 - 10:00 pm ET (check local listings). The two-hour special was co-produced by South Carolina ETV, and National Black Programming Consortium with funding from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB) as part of "American Graduate: Let's Make it Happen," a public media initiative to stem the dropout crisis by supporting community-based solutions.

The Comer SDP's work in Hartsville, a major component of the Partners for Unparalleled Local Scholastic Excellence (PULSE) initiative of the TEACH Foundation, is led by Dr. Camille Cooper, the SDP's Director of Teaching, Learning, and Development.
