The romantic drama, which stars Katie Holmes and Luke Kirby, tells the story of two bipolar poets who meet in a psychiatric hospital and fall in love. It won numerous awards and was honored by the national Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration at its annual Voice Awards.

Mr. Dalio grew up in Connecticut and studied at New York University Tisch School of the Arts. He and his wife, fellow film director Kristina Nikolova, collaborate on projects under the banner Moonstruck Productions. They live in New York with their two children.
