Matia Finn-Stevenson Receives the 2015 Stepping Up for Children Award

Matia Finn-Stevenson was recognized by the Stepping Stones Museum for Children, in Norwalk, Conn., for her outstanding work in advancing innovative education reform. Dr. Finn-Stevenson accepted the award on March 28 during the organization’s Kaleidoscope Ball. Dr. Finn-Stevenson is Associate Director of the Edward Zigler Center in Child Development and Social Policy; Director, School of the 21st Century, and creator of the Mutt-i-grees Curriculum Initiative. All of her work is designed to ensure that children are successful at home, in school, and later, in the workplace.
