Child Psychology Fellowship Program

Megan Julian, our incoming Early Childhood Fellow, is PhD candidate in Clinical Psychology from University of Pittsburgh. Megan received her BA in Psychology with a minor in Philosophy from Butler University. Her practica have included working in Pediatric Neuropsychology Services at the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, numerous clinics at Western Psychiatric Institute, and the Matilda Theiss Child Development Center. Her research involves the development of post-institutional adopted children, particularly those from Russian orphanages.

Priscilla Cheng, our incoming Trauma Fellow, is a PsyD candidate from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Priscilla received her BA at Northwestern University where she majored in Human Development and Psychological Studies with a minor in Asian American Studies. She then went on to earn her Masters of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northwestern and is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of Illinois. Prior to entering her doctoral program, Priscilla worked with immigrant families at Asian Human Services in Chicago. Priscilla has completed practica at the Chicago Children’s Advocacy Center and the University of Illinois at Chicago. She has received the Albert Schweitzer Fellowship at the Marjorie Kovler Center for Survivors of Torture. Priscilla has travelled widely as part of humanitarian aid efforts, including visits to Haiti, Africa, and southeast Asia. Her research focuses on resilience in female survivors of genocide. Priscilla is a dual citizen of the US and Canada and is fluent in Cantonese Chinese.

Brianna Lewis, our incoming Autism Fellow, is a PhD candidate in Clinical Psychology from Fordham University. Brianna received her BS in Child Development with a minor in Human and Organizational Development from Vanderbilt University. She received her M.Ed. in Prevention Science and Practice from Harvard University. Brianna has had clinical and research experience at the NYU Child Study Center and the Child Mind Institute. She has been awarded a Leadership in Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities Fellow (LEND) at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She has pursued practica at the Seaver Autism Center for Research and Treatment at Mount Sinai and the New York Psychiatric Institute/Columbia University. Brianna’s research involves the development of a pediatric screening measure for autism spectrum disorder.

Andrea Lewallen, our incoming Pediatrics Fellow, is a PhD candidate in Clinical Psychology from Loma Linda University’s School of Behavioral Health. Andrea received her BA in Psychology from the University of California, Riverside. Her practica have included training at the Behavioral Medicine Center of Redlands, California and the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles Center for Cancer and Blood Diseases. Her research focuses on parenting stress and developmentally delayed children, as well as an online intervention for cancer patients. Andrea has served as a medical translator as part of the Flying Samaritans Organization at the El Hongo Clinic in Mexico; she is bi-lingual in Spanish and is a dual citizen of the US and Argentina.

Advanced Clinical Social Work Fellowship Program

Amber Jones is originally from New Britain, CT, and graduated from the University of Chicago School of Social Service Administration in 2013 with a Master of Arts in Social Work. Her clinical interests include the treatment of complex trauma with children and families, the intergenerational transmission of trauma within family systems, and the utilization of culturally relevant practice. She also enjoys singing, writing, and taking advantage of the outdoors in her free time. She will be a Social Work Fellow in the IICAPS program.

Ameya Krishnan will be joining the Yale Child Study Center as a Social Work Fellow in OPC. She is currently completing her MSW at the University of Pennsylvania School of Social Policy and Practice. She grew up mostly in New Haven, but also spent several years in Seattle, WA. Her clinical interests include infant mental health, parenting and early intervention, trauma informed practice, transpersonal theory, and narrative therapy. She practices yoga and meditation and is passionate about spirituality and creative writing.

Sarah Murray is a native of Baltimore, MD. She will be receiving her MSW from the George Warren Brown School of Social Work at Washington University in St. Louis. Sarah's clinical interests include trauma, grief, and bereavement, and their impact on family and community systems. She is also particularly interested in the intersection between trauma, grief, and violence. Her personal interests include good (vegetarian) food, yoga, performing arts, and her friends and family. Sarah will be a Social Work Fellow in the IICAPS program.

Christina "Chris" Watkins is a native of Augusta, Georgia. She will be joining us as a Social Work Fellow in the Outpatient Clinic. She attended the University of Chicago's School of Social Service Administration where she received her MA in 2012. She has since been working at the Orthogenic School exploring her clinical interests in trauma and its somatic expressions. When not at work, Chris enjoys reading, drinking tea, and listening to thunderstorms – – preferably together.

Integrated Program in Child, Adolescent, Adult and Research Psychiatry

Dr. Andrea Diaz Stransky graduated Medical School from Escuela de Medicina Ignacio A. Santos in Mexico and was a Research Trainee at Kennedy Krieger Institute- Johns Hopkins SOM in Baltimore, MD. She has an interest in autism imaging and genetics. In her spare times she enjoys Tae-Kwon-Do of which she holds a Black belt; Learning and teaching languages; International travel; Piano; and Outdoor sports

Dr. Amalia Londono Tobon graduated Medical School from Stanford University in California where she was also a student researcher. he has an interest in anxiety disorders, implementing new systems of care and the interface of psychiatry with non-psychiatric medicine and other systems. In her spare time she enjoys Tennis, yoga, learning golf, meditation, Latin dancing, hiking, languages, cultures, traveling.

Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship Program

Dr. Ashleigh Colin graduated Medical School from University of the Witwatersrand Faculty of Health Science in South Africa and completed her residency at Duke University in North Carolina. In her spare time she enjoys enjoy jogging, reading mystery novels and writing movie reviews.

Dr. Patrice Janell Holmes (Janell) graduated Medical School from The University of Oklahoma in Oklahoma and completed here residency at Georgetown in Washington DC. In her spare time she enjoys refurbishing furniture, painting, traveling, reading, movies and time with family and friends.

Dr. Hun Millard graduated Medical School from Howard University in Washington, DC and completed her residency at Dartmouth Hitchock Medical Center in New Hampshire. In her spare time she enjoys reading, hiking, cooking, entertaining, tennis, learning piano and imaginative play with my children.

Dr. Paula Marie Smith graduated Medical School from Howard University in Washington, DC and completed her residency at Montefiore Medical Center in New York. In her spare time she enjoys live music, Dance, Volleyball, and is a member of Christian Cultural Center.

Dr. Hanady Gouta graduated Medical School from King Abdulaziz University in Saudi Arabia and completed her residency at Mass Mental PREP Program in Massachusetts. In her spare time she enjoys swimming, shopping and traveling.

Dr. Sonya Neda Kaveh (Neda) graduated Medical School from Marshall University in West Virginia and completed her residency at West Virginia University. In her spare time she enjoys Painting, crocheting, and jewelry making.

Dr. Danijela Stojanac graduated Medical School from the University of Novi Sad Faculty of Medicine in Serbia and completed her residency at the University of Chicago. In her spare time she enjoys playing the guitar, dancing tango and salsa, learning other languages (Spanish and Portuguese), traveling, swimming, jogging, rollerblading, photography and spending time with close friends.

Dr. Larry Khashayer Mortazavi graduated Medical School from Shahid Behashti University in Iran and completed his residency at Center for Psychoanalytic Studies in Texas. In his spare time he enjoys Tennis, swimming, classical music, and operas.
