Yale University has been an academic leader in generating knowledge that promotes security, peace, equity, social protection, and children’s issues – both in the USA and around the world – through the multidisciplinary contributions of its diverse and collaborative academic, practitioner and policy teams. Being a liaison among academics, practitioners and policy-makers who are addressing the role and pathways of peace building though ECD, Yale is in an ideal position to share existing knowledge and generate scientific evidence supporting the well-being of children and families as an agent of change for peace, as well as help to mobilize the global community around ECD and peace building.
