Child Study Center Grand Rounds; A Culturally Informed Approach to Treatment Through the Use of Dichos with Latinos

Dichos – sayings, proverbs, or idioms commonly used in Spanish by Latinos can play a significant role in engagement. The presentation will reflect the speakers’ clinical experience as bilingual clinicians working with bilingual families. The presentation’s goal is to develop foundational knowledge of the utilization of dichos with Latinos as a tool to deliver culturally informed care.
