DESCRIPTION:Drawing on her research funded by the NIH Director’s New Innov
ator Award\, Wang-Ling Tseng\, PhD\, will share new findings from her ong
oing study examining irritability from multiple angles\, including brain
 function\, physiology\, behavior\, peer relationships\, and family and en
vironmental influences. She will also address how these factors interact
across development and present early results from a pilot study using bra
in stimulation to reduce irritability. This talk will highlight how integ
rating neuroscience with lab-based and real-world social experiences and
environmental factors may move us closer to more effective\, personalized
