Child Study Center Grand Rounds: Quantifying Cognition Across the Lifespan with an Experiment and Modeling Ecosystem

Understanding how cognition changes with normal and pathological development is key to facilitating healthy growth, gaining accurate diagnoses, and developing effective interventions. Model-based approaches, such as those described in the presentation, are one avenue for quantifying cognition while also estimating uncertainty, so that individual differences can be maximized while also gaining mechanistic insight into observed changes.
