Art in Transition: Works of transgender and non-binary youth (5/4)

In partnership with the Yale Gender Program, Jillian Celentano, LMSW is coordinating this event at the Scranton Memorial Library in Madison, CT on May 4, 2023, with a reception open to all at 6pm.

Art in Transition: Works of transgender and non-binary youth

Welcome to a world in transition; a world beyond pink and blue. Art in Transition represents the work of transgender and non-binary artists under age 25 from south central Connecticut and surrounding areas. Consider how every trans voice is unique. Trans stories are as vibrant and varied as the colors of the rainbow, and both are visible in trans artists' work. When we all have the freedom to express our truest selves, each of us can make something beautiful to share with the world. When everyone's authentic self can shine, we can work together to make something greater than ourselves, like artists in a gallery.
