Child Study Grand Rounds: “The Spiritual Lives of Children and Youth: Reflecting on Violence, Joy, Resistance, and Hope”
The audience will learn more about the current role of spirituality in the lives of children and youth in the North American context, with particular emphasis on African American children and youth. The audience will learn more about the agency that youth are already exhibiting in and through their religious communities and innovative resources and practices that some religious youth and youth workers have employed in helping youth address violence (and other social concerns, such as racism).
