Study correlates maternal depression with diaper need
Researchers at the Yale School of Medicine have found a strong correlation between the diaper need of low-income mothers and the occurrence of maternal depression. According to their study, which was published in the journal Health Equity in September, diaper need — even more than food insufficiency — is a daily stressor that leads to maternal hardship and mental health struggles.Source: Yale Daily News
Treatment with Genetically Altered Viruses Targets and Destroys Ovarian Cancer in Mice
Researchers have successfully eliminated chemotherapy-resistant ovarian cancer cells in mice using a single injection of two viruses genetically combined and altered to be safe, leading to long-term survival and demonstrating a potential breakthrough treatment for women.
