James P. Comer honored for community leadership

James P. Comer, MD, MPH, Maurice Falk Professor of Child Psychiatry and Associate Dean of the Yale School of Medicine, was honored for his outstanding leadership and commitment to community at the Greater New Haven Good Scout Council reception on November 30, 2016. Also honored was Garth Harries ’54, the former superintendent of the New Haven Public Schools, and Rev. Stephen A. Cousin, Jr., pastor of Bethel AME Church.

Proceeds benefit the Boys Scouts of America Connecticut Yankee Council’s ScoutReach and STEM programs in the city of New Haven.
