Study Design, & Biostatistics
YCCI’s Protocol Design, Development & Feasibility (PDDF) team provides methodological and biostatistical support for clinical and translational research.
The YCCI PDDF Study Design and Biostatistics team can support researchers in a wide variety of ways, from pre-design advice to manuscript preparation and revision. This includes ensuring research is conducted using sound analytical principles and practices by helping to develop testable hypotheses, with adequate sample size, as well as the application of appropriate analytical methods and proper interpretation of analyses.

YCCI PDDF Statistical Analysis and Programming services can support Investigators to ensure data quality and data integrity in conjunction and/or collaboration with fellow PDDF team members (Clinical Trials Project Managers and Clinical Trials Data Managers) or as stand-alone services in collaboration with your team.
In addition to our study design and biostatistics core, PDDF teams also work in partnership with the Yale Center for Analytical Sciences (YCAS) and Department of Biostatistics to connect researchers with the right support to fit their project needs. This can include ongoing collaboration, short-term consultation, data analysis support and/or education and training.
Setting up a Study Design and Biostatistics Support Consultation with us can get the process started to assess your study needs.
Requests for consultation and service proposals can be submitted on the Service Request link to the right side of this page.
