Outpatient & Inpatient Facilities
YCCI supports an inpatient/outpatient unit at Yale-New Haven Hospital and three outpatient units located at 2 Church Street South, in the same building as YCCI’s Office of Research Services, the MRRC at The Anlyan Center, and Yale West Campus. The skilled nursing staff and state-of-the-art equipment of the Inpatient Research Units support moderate and high-risk studies, while the easy access and attractive environment of the Outpatient Facilities provide ideal settings for minimal and low risk studies.
YCCI Outpatient Facility: Church Street Research Unit (CSRU)
The Church Street Research Unit (CSRU) accommodates less invasive outpatient studies involving blood draws, ECGs, physical and neurocognitive exams, as well as oral glucose and mixed meal tolerance testing.
YCCI Outpatient Facility: West Campus Research Unit (WCRU)
Located on the Yale West Campus, just off I-95, the YCCI West Campus Research Unit (WCRU), is available to Yale Investigators for infectious disease outpatient studies.
YCCI Outpatient Facility: Magnetic Resonance Research Center (MRRC)
The Magnetic Resonance Research Center (MRRC), within the The Anlyan Center (TAC) building on the Yale School of Medicine campus (300 Cedar Street), accommodates outpatient studies involving blood draws, physical and neurocognitive exams, oral glucose, mixed meal and intravenous glucose tolerance tests, clamps and infusions. The facility features a patient waiting area, with a securely staffed clinic and lab area.Inpatient Facility: Hospital Research Unit (HRU)
Located on the 10th floor of Yale New Haven Hospital, the YCCI Hospital Research Unit (HRU), is available to Yale Investigators for moderate to high risk adult and pediatric inpatient and outpatient studies.
