Clinical Research Operations

The YCCI clinical trials operations unit is comprised of clinical research professionals that provide exceptional support and service to investigators conducting clinical research studies at Yale.

These teams are led by senior associate director, Kelly Anastasio.

Bionutrition Unit
The Bionutrition Unit provides the necessary resources to plan and conduct inpatient and outpatient studies that demand sophisticated nutritional support. It also provides nutritional services to study participants.
Clinical and Research Support Services
YCCI provides investigators with access to study support personnel that have been trained to implement and support studies in a safe and efficient manner.
Clinical Research Support Lab Services
YCCI’s Core Laboratory assists in the clinical trials process by ensuring that biospecimens from study participants are processed and stored until submission by the study teams to the appropriate laboratory for analysis.
Investigational Drug Service
The IDS assists YCCI investigators with study design, development of IND submissions, randomizations, blinding methodologies, and preparation of educational materials for patients and staff.
Outpatient & Inpatient Facilities
YCCI supports an inpatient unit at Yale-New Haven Hospital and three outpatient units located at 2 Church Street South, in the same building as YCCI’s Office of Research Services, the MRRC at The Anlyan Center, and Yale West Campus.
