Programs and Opportunities

CBIT established several formal courses at Yale that are popular among students interested in biomedical and healthcare innovation. Members of the CBIT team has been instrumental in curriculum development and class instruction, and the center provided critical resources and clinical connections necessary in launching courses successfully.

Shorter extracurricular engagements provide faculty and students the ability to explore innovation, while intensives offer a deep dive into a topic of interest and are typically offered in partnership with other groups on campus.

CBIT’s interdisciplinary team offers access to a deep pool of industry mentors with expertise in diagnostics, digital health, medical devices, and platform technologies willing to work with early-stage innovators.

Every January, CBIT hosts its Annual CBIT Healthcare Hackathon bringing together individuals from Yale and from all over the world to work together and solve the most pressing problems in healthcare.
