Associate Professor Hesper Rego, Ph.D. will receive support from the Hypothesis Fund to investigate the connection between Mycobacterium tuberculosis metabolism and antibiotic sensitivity at the single-cell level. The Rego Lab in the Department of Microbial Pathogenesis aims to determine how and why genetically identical M. tuberculosis cells differ metabolically.
