Rohan Khera, MD, was selected by the American College of Cardiology (ACC) to receive the Douglas P. Zipes Distinguished Young Scientist Award in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the field of cardiovascular disease and impressive body of scientific research.
Khera is associate professor of medicine (cardiovascular medicine) and of biostatistics (health informatics) and director of the Cardiovascular Data Science (CarDS) Lab. As the Zipes Award winner, he will deliver the keynote lecture, titled “The Future of AI in Cardiology and Bottlenecks in Translating Research to Clinical Care,” at the upcoming ACC conference.
