Mancy Tong, PhD, assistant professor of obstetrics, gynecology, and reproductive sciences, has received the Gábor Than Award from the International Federation of Placenta Associations (IFPA). The Gábor Than Award in placentology recognizes outstanding contributions to the field in all its aspects, including the relationship between fetus and mother, by early-career investigators typically within 10 years of their terminal degree.
