    Bei Wins Fulbright for Malaria Vaccinology Program in Senegal

    Amy Kristine Bei, PhD, an affiliate of the Yale Institute of Global Health, received a Fulbright Scholar Fellowship for Senegal for 2026-2027. Bei, an associate professor of epidemiology (microbial diseases), will spend 10 months in Senegal working at Université Cheikh Anta Diop de Dakar and the Institut Pasteur de Dakar on a project that incorporates both research and teaching incorporating genomics into malaria vaccinology. The project is titled "A new paradigm for diversity-proofing next-generation malaria vaccines and monoclonals."
