CA-1 Year

Didactic Sessions:  Every Wednesday 4:30 – 5:30pm.
Simulations:  The last Wednesday of each month  4:30 – 5:30pm.
STARTprep Daily board preparation course implemented in response to the new format of the ABA exams.
Spinal/Epidural Workshop:  Twice per year.
Structured Reading Program:  Chapters assigned from Clinical Anesthesia by Paul G Barash, MD 

CA-2 Year

Simulations:  The last Wednesday of each month  4:30 – 5:30pm. 
Structured Reading Program:  Chapters assigned from Anesthesia and Coexisting Disease by Roberta L Hines, MD

CA-3 Year

Didactic Sessions:Every Wednesday 4:30 – 5:30pmThese sessions are devoted to preparation for the ABA board exams. Consisting of board preparation and mock orals. 

Simulations:  The last Wednesday of each month  4:30 – 5:30pm. 
Structured Reading Program:  Chapters assigned from Anesthesia and Coexisting Disease by Roberta L Hines, MD

All Resident/Fellow Sessions

Journal Club:  The last Wednesday of each month 2:00 – 3:00pm.
Interdisciplinary Lecture Series:  The second Wednesday of each month 4:30-5:30pm.
Board Review Series:  Every Friday 4:00-5:30pm.
Grand Rounds:  Every Friday 7:00-8:00am.


*Our simulations are a collaboration with the SYN:APSE Simulation Center. The content is written each month by a different faculty member and each event is staged in an operating room for the most realistic experience for our residents.
