Biography
Dr. Lichtor is Professor and Section Chief of Pediatric Anesthesia in the Department of Anesthesiology at Yale University New Haven Connecticut. He earned his medical degree at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine in Chicago, USA. He completed his residency training at University of Colorado Medical School in Denver, USA and went on to do a pediatric anesthesia fellowship at The Children’s Hospital in Denver Colorado USA. His area of research interest are in recovery after anesthesia and sleep as it relates to anesthesia. Dr. Lichtor serves on the editorial board of Anesthesia and Analgesia. He has published a number of journal articles and book chapters related to recovery after anesthesia, sleep as it relates to anesthesia as well as outpatient anesthesia. He has been an active member of many professional societies.
