How to Apply

The Resident Program at Yale participates in the electronic application process sponsored by the American Association of Medical Colleges.

Applications can be accessed at:
www.aamc.org/eras (pediatric anesthesiology is a December application cycle specialty).

The Pediatric Anesthesiology Program Directors have additional instructions for applicants to complete when applying for Pediatric Anesthesiology Fellowships.

Please see this document for more details:

Applications will be ranked, and selected candidates will be invited to the Department for an interview. When they come, those with an identified academic research interest can meet with potential mentors or research collaborators. There will be a presentation of the fellowship year that will include a presentation of academic and research activities in which fellows may participate. Applicants will meet with our faculty and residents, and will tour the medical center, the operating rooms and the intensive care units. If we want you to join our program, we will contact you after the interview. If any positions are still available, after all interview sessions are completed, applicants will be ranked and the names of the top-ranked applicants will be submitted to the NRMP for the Match Program.
