Neuro-Anesthesiology Fellowship
The Neuro-anesthesiology Fellowship offered by Yale University is designed to produce world class physicians in the field of perioperative neurosciences, capable of improving outcomes in patients with critically ill neurologic conditions. The fellowship is accredited via Internation Council on Perioperative Neuroscience Training (ICPNT) that establishes standards of training.
This one-year fellowship includes rotations in Neurosurgery operating rooms, Neuro-Interventional Radiology Suites, Neuromonitoring, Neuro-Intensive care units, as well as research in neurosciences, under the supervision of our well experienced faculty. Additional elective rotations are available. We offer flexibility in fellowship, with attending time built in for non-neurologic cases.
The fellow is also expected to attend and present at the annual SNACC conference (Society for Neuroscience in Anesthesiology and Critical Care). Overall, the goal is to achieve a comprehensive and complete training with clinical experience, education and research.
