Florence Comite, MD ’76, RES ’78, is an internationally recognized physician‑scientist and endocrinologist whose work has helped define the fields of healthy longevity and precision medicine. After completing her training at the National Institutes of Health, she spent twenty‑five years on the Yale School of Medicine (YSM) faculty with appointments in endocrinology (internal medicine and pediatrics) and reproductive endocrinology (gynecology and andrology). In 1992, she founded the nation’s first center for women’s health at Yale.
Dr. Comite is the founder of the Comite Center for Precision Medicine & Healthy Longevity, now in New York City, Palo Alto, and Miami Beach, where she developed the Nof1™ model to personalize care using proprietary clinical and wearable data. She also created the first physician‑led app focused on optimizing healthspan.
A widely published researcher, she is the author of the 2013 bestseller Keep It Up. Her new book, Invincible: Defy Your Genetic Destiny to Live Better, Longer, will be published by Little, Brown Spark in April 2026.
