Fred Aslan, M.D. ’02, MBA, is the founder and CEO of ADVANCE Medical, one of the largest medical device and diagnostics companies in Brazil. Dr. Aslan raised over $25 million to build the company, which employs 150. He is also a VP at the venture capital fund Venrock. He was a co-founder and board member of Receptos Pharmaceuticals, acquired by Celgene for over $8 billion, and led Venrock’s investment in Zeltiq. Previous experience includes roles at CuraGen and Boston Consulting Group. He holds degrees from Yale, Duke, and Harvard Business School.
