Ted White PhD, MPH
Associate Research Scientist in Epidemiology (Microbial Diseases)
Ted White is an epidemiologist whose research includes methodological work in HIV seroepidemiology, the application of mathematical modeling to seroincidence estimation and to health policy development, sexual network epidemiology, developing behavioral data collection frameworks applicable to HIV transmission, and the advancement of evidence-based HIV prevention interventions. Since his doctoral program, much of his research has focused on homosexually active men, in particular examining health disparities related to the greater burden of sexually transmitted infections (STIs) among gay men, and within gay men, among men of color.
