Financial Aid for YSPH and Graduate School Students
We understand the importance of finance in your decision to enroll and remain at YSPH. Therefore, we encourage you to review the information on this site, apply early and contact us to discuss any questions you may have. We are here to assist you through the financial aid process, including applications and exploring funding options.
Financial aid is offered on the basis of need and merit. U.S. citizens and permanent residents applying to the MPH program are eligible for grants, scholarships and loans. International students are not eligible for U.S. federal loans but can apply for private loans with a credit worthy U.S. co-signer. Each year, one or more students from Central and Latin America who plan to return to their home countries to improve health delivery and policy will be awarded the Overlook International Foundation Scholarship.
Financial assistance for students in the M.S. program is determined by the Graduate School.
Students in the PhD program receive assistance in the form of grants, fellowships, traineeships and assistantships.
Prospective students who wish to be considered for financial aid must submit all required documents by March 1, 2013.
Returning students applying for financial aid must submit all required documents by April 1, 2013.
